In this course, you’ll learn how to fly in mountain environments, with a special focus on mountain meteorology and how to identify dangerous weather conditions that can affect your flight. We’ll dive into high-altitude operations, helping you understand the effects on both the aircraft and the pilot. You’ll practice flying in mountainous areas, including ridge crossings, navigating narrow valleys, and landing on slopes.
We’ll also cover navigation in low-visibility conditions and how to handle emergencies in difficult terrain, ensuring you’re ready for any unexpected situation. On top of that, you’ll learn how to use advanced technology for mountain navigation, giving you the tools to fly more safely and confidently in challenging environments.
